High Point Pool HiPPos Swim Team

HPP's Winter Swim Program for 2026-27 will be held on Sunday nights from 5:30 - 6:30 pm for swimmers in Pre-K through 8th grade. The fee is $510 per swimmer. 

If your swimmer did not participate in HPP Swim during the 2026 summer season, your swimmer will need to be assessed at the first practice to make sure s/he can safely participate.  New swimmers must be age 4-14 as of September 1, 2026, and:

• Fully Potty Trained 
• Comfortable entering the pool independently without parental support
• Able to fully submerge underwater independently
• Willing to participate in practice activities with coaches for the full hour without parental support

Location: The Winter Swim program will be located at NCAP’s Tyson’s Practice Facility located at 8101 Wolftrap Road in Vienna, VA.  Pool temperature maintained at 80°F.

Dates: September 20, 2026 - May 9, 2026 (No swim on 10/11, 11/1, 12/20, 12/27, 1/17, 2/14, 3/21)

Each swimmer must be listed as a family member on a fully paid High Point Pool account prior to team registration. A “family member” includes natural children, adopted children, foster children, foreign exchange students, and blood relatives who have lived continuously in the household for a minimum of two months.

• Foreign exchange students are foreign citizens temporarily residing in the U.S. who have been placed with a family through a recognized exchange organization.
• Foster children are individuals formally placed in the home by a recognized foster care organization.

We have a limited number of scholarships that we can offer to families that may have financial barriers to participating in the HPP winter swim. If your family needs financial assistance, please reach out to [email protected]. All requests will be kept confidential. Please include the number of swimmers in your family with their ages and what amount you are able to comfortably pay. Please note that because financial scholarships are limited, we ask that you only request assistance if your family has a true need. All requests for scholarships must be received by September 7, 2026.
